Skyview (2641), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Mar 26, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in southern Waukesha County. Pours a clear dark copper amber brew with a thick and creamy off-white head that has some nice lacing and some lumpy texture during the head dissipation. Aroma of light crystal malt, a touch of caramel, grassy hops and a touch of toffee. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with a a dry rye malt character that is slightly bitter and metallic. Finish remains slightly dry with a some chemical bitter character that lingers after the finish. A little bit on the dry side for a winter beer.
