Gorgeous bright copper colour. Big cherry nose with deep caramel base. Soft, sugary with loads of cherry candy sweetness. Definitely strange (for style) but not bad beer.

(Draught) Sampled at the Longwood Restaurant. All the Longwood beers were coy with flavour - an underlying emptiness that could not be fullfilled. I would stare at the 4-samplers and wonder if, with all their similar properties of flavourless-water soups, I would be able to identify the style without the provided tent card. Ultimately I couldn’t. This beer was a deep copper colour and nearly headless. Caramel malts were weak in appearance and flavour. Very poor offering.

A watery bock, what a crime this is.
