Light body (but chewy like the rest), dry light grassy notes, a hint fruit, not much else. Dusty aftertaste
jcwattsrugger (3942), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Oct 16, 2007 on tap-pours an off white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet. Taste is medium malt-sweet, medium fruit. Minimum carbonation. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 18, 2007 Deep, bright reddish-amber colour with a loose head. Rich caramel malt nose. Soft, very caramelly palate, smooth and sweet. A bit hard to describe despite its simple concept but they did it well. CapFlu (3292), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jan 9, 2007 (Growler) Purchased at the brewpub on December 24, 2006. Oddly filled from the bar tap through a clear 4" hose - it doesn’t even touch the bottom of the growler? Lots of oxidation. Pours flat with a fairly smoky malted aroma. Deep reddish body. Flavours of ash, smoked malt and decent piney hops. Decent but best sampled at the brewpub. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 10, 2006 Amber body with minimal off white head. Aroma was caramel malts with a faint hop presesnce. Medium bodied with a hoppy bite.
