COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big hop aroma fills the nose with tangerine, grapefruit, and a hint of pine. Caramel and Munich malts balance out the beer by adding a full body and a touch of sweetness. The dry hopping in this brew imparts the citrusy hop flavor all the way to the finish. An excellent example of a West Coast IPA!

Decent IPA, not over powering, very drinkable and refreshing. Not the best IPA, but I’d definitely get it again.

Have had this a few times. I recall it having a great citrus aroma and taste. Unlike most IPAs, it was very smooth on the palate and didn’t have that "bite" you normally would get. My wife liked it too.

~Strong grapefruity piney hop aroma with light caramel and bready malts. ~Pours hazy orange color with lasting firm creamy white head. ~Spice and pine along with grapefruit hop flavors balanced nicely with caramel and bready malts. ~Medium bodied with medium high CO2, lingering bitter hop finish. ~Enjoyable IPA. Beautiful to look at and very well balanced. Fine example of an IPA!

Off the tap at Beach Hut Deli in Lincoln, CA. A finger of head on a medium straw colored body. The aroma is a pleasant lemon, pine and honey scent. The taste as a solid heavy bitterness with a good malt backbone. Not a hint of sweetness. Crisp and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation and medium body. A fine IPA.

On tap at Rubicon brewing for beer week! The aroma on this was lemon citrusy hops. Flavour was a little lower bitterness than most IPAs, but decent, and was citrusy. It had some malt backbone to it. Palate was medium bodied and finished dry.

Tap at the Rubicon. Pours clear copper with a beige head. Resin aroma. Med body. Flavor is light sweet caramel with a good amount of resin and perhaps citrus hop. Finishes mildly bitter, perhaps with a touch of grapefruit rind.

Had this last weekend, so memory slightly foggy.... Notes that I wrote state smooth hop flavor, but not terribly complex.... Solid beer from what I recall....

On tap at Kuprow’s Sacramento. Pours clear copper with a fluffy off-white head and a floral aroma. There is a fresh caramel malt flavor with a smoothly bitter finish. A pretty good brew from a relatively new brewery.

5 ounce sample from the West Coast Brew Fest in Sacramento, CA. The aroma is extremely citrussy with mandarin orange. Smells almost like an orange soda. Some resins are also in there, too. Pretty nice. Transparent golden body with a medium off-yellow head and good lacing present. A little over-carbonated to start, before some mild citrus hop flavors present themselves. Nice toasted and crystal malt flavors are present in the middle. Moderately bitter grapefruit hop flavors to finish. Solid.
