Big hop aroma fills the nose with tangerine, grapefruit, and a hint of pine. Caramel and Munich malts balance out the beer by adding a full body and a touch of sweetness. The dry hopping in this brew imparts the citrusy hop flavor all the way to the finish. An excellent example of a West Coast IPA!

Off the tap at Beach Hut Deli in Lincoln, CA. A finger of head on a medium straw colored body. The aroma is a pleasant lemon, pine and honey scent. The taste as a solid heavy bitterness with a good malt backbone. Not a hint of sweetness. Crisp and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation and medium body. A fine IPA.

22oz bottle pours a hazy yellow amber color with a bit of head. Medium hop bitterness. Some tropical and pine flavors. A little musty tasting.

Poured from the bomber into an English pint glass. Medium amber color with a thick cream colored head. Aroma is a bit yeasty with citrusy hops. Flavor starts with some bready malts and transitions into a more citrusy hop finish. Definitely maltier than most west coast IPAs; reminds me more of an English pale or IPA. Medium bodied with a crisp finish. Overall this is actually pretty good, just was not what I was expecting.

"An average IPA. Sweetish, slightly bitter and a light floral aroma. doesnít do anything to stand out in the massive world of west coast ipas, though.

Decent IPA, not over powering, very drinkable and refreshing. Not the best IPA, but Iíd definitely get it again.

Have had this a few times. I recall it having a great citrus aroma and taste. Unlike most IPAs, it was very smooth on the palate and didnít have that "bite" you normally would get. My wife liked it too.

~Strong grapefruity piney hop aroma with light caramel and bready malts. ~Pours hazy orange color with lasting firm creamy white head. ~Spice and pine along with grapefruit hop flavors balanced nicely with caramel and bready malts. ~Medium bodied with medium high CO2, lingering bitter hop finish. ~Enjoyable IPA. Beautiful to look at and very well balanced. Fine example of an IPA!

On tap at Rubicon brewing for beer week! The aroma on this was lemon citrusy hops. Flavour was a little lower bitterness than most IPAs, but decent, and was citrusy. It had some malt backbone to it. Palate was medium bodied and finished dry.
