Clear chestnut brown with a thin off white head that soon bids a farewell!
Caramel malt, toffee, subtle hints of mango and a little tropical fruit on the nose.
Tastes of toffee, dark caramelised sugar, a little malt and some woodiness.
Medium bodied leading to a bitter dry finish.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Copper colour, with mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and crystal malty with some mild nutty notes. Also some slight ripe fruits and mild grassyness. Flavour is rather similar with a nice bitter finish.

Cask @ Hobgoblin. Pours clear deep amber with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma is fruity, malty, a bit sweet and hoppy. Flavor is nicely malty, caramel, fruity and bitter hoppy. Finishes bitter.

On gravity at Swindon beer festival 27/10/2011. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish cereal malt aroma with a pinch of grassy hops. Flavour had more, slightly bready malts with a decent, bitter finish. So-so.

Cask, gravity, Wantage Beer Festival 19.11.10 Amber in colour without any head, save for a few stray bubbles dossing about like a couple of bored kids kicking a football in the street.
