Cask, handpump at FFTMC, Oxford 11.12.10 Pours dark chestnut in colour with an off-white head. This is quite nutty and with a good depth of flavour, some rich toffee showing, not too much spice which is usually a ruiner of many a Christmas beer, very decent. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Chestnut with cream colour head. Sweetish, malty beer with an underlying fruitiness. Quite mild and easy on the palate, some hints of leafy hop, but the slightly toasty malt dominates. Pretty reasonable.
