Swift and silent, full of flavor. This skilled, shadowy master of IPAs will take you by surprise yet honorably leave your palate intact. Aggressive late hop additions tempered with a stealthy, fleeting bitterness make Shadow Ninja IPA a formidable and respectable beer.

Big bold malt backs up huge hop aroma and oils. Notes of tropical and pine plus what tastes like a very well made english malt base. I hope to see more and more of these guys in the future!

Bomber poured a clear golden amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, pink grapefruit, cantaloupe and peach. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of biscuot, grapefruit and pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottle:   Orange colored, faint haze, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Muted hop nose, very faint earth, even fainter vegetal aspect.   Not too bright, a touch pungent.   Soft hop bitterness on the tongue, dull and a bit dingy, seems to be of a pithy citrus kind.   Nothing about this one is bright.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with a muted hoppiness, light sweetness, faint citrus peel lingering.   Its like its crying out to be more citrusy, but its just too subdued and muted.   Not offensive, but just a bit boring.   Despite the slight vegetal big on the nose, it doesnt come across on the tongue.   Decent, but not one I would reach for again.

This is everything I want from an IPA! Great aroma, light bodied and a good bitterness but nothing too intense. I’m really happy to finally see this beer in the Seattle area!

Hazy tangerine body and creamy head. Light, lovely floral nose. An interest mix of wheat and hoppyness graces both the nose and the palate. Splendid.

A grainy sweet malty aroma with a touch of caramel and a nice hop backing come out of this clear copperish brew with a small white head. A nice malt taste followed by hop flavor with slight bitterness and a light body with fine carb bubbles hit your tongue. The aftertaste is the bitterness coming thru.

Clear gold with slight aroma of malt, then hops. Malt is sort of caramel forward. It's a decent beer, but I'm not sure it's an ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
