3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at the Lord Nelson. Pours dark amber with an off white cap and low carbonation. The beer is served too cold to get a decent impression of the aroma but stong dark malts are there along with some alcohol and ester. The flavour is rich with a medium bitterness and plenty of dark roasty malt, it finishes long and slightly dry with plenty of warming alcohol.

Pint at Lord Nelsonís Hotel in Sydney. Pours a dark copper with an offwhite creamy head. Smells of tons of malt. Tastes of a medium sweetness, medium-large bitterness, and some metallic qualities. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, and a creamy texture. Finishes bitter.

Amber in colour. Some slight roasty notes with a nice crystal malt character. Definately a malt driven style, very easy drinking. This is my first beer from the Lord Nelson, one Iíve wanted to try for quite a while and I enjoyed it, well brewed, good beer.

Pleasantly suprised with how smooth and drinkable the beer was. Poured Amber brown with a creamy tan head, a slight creamy sweet aroma, sweet taste with little bit of a bitter finish.
