Great local beer. Very good colour. Very light on after taste. Can drink more than a few at single setting. Kept its taste to the end. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden coloured body with a hazy glow and a thin off-white head. Aroma of light floral and citrus hops with a good dose of malt and a very light honey scent. Medium-bodied; Assertive fresh hop flavour that doesn’t last too long, some good malt notes behind, a little sweetness and alcohol flavours and a touch of herbal and dry notes. Aftertaste shows a nice bit of honey and sweetness, but mainly a good mix of malt and hops that shows well. Overall, a nice beer and with the pleasant surroundings, a great beer. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub/hotel in The Rocks, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on my honeymoon on 14-August-2009.

Golden amber colour, has some nice fruity hop aroma, seems like Amarillo to me. A little hazy to look at, sort of in the Coopers tradition. Pretty easy drinking Aussie pale ale style.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden amber pour with a foamy white head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is equal parts biscuity malt and citrusy hops. Flavour is very similar to aroma with notes of lemon, grapefruit and orange stand out as well as the biscuity malt and a hint of yeast, especially in the aftertaste. Light, almost watery mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a lingering, mildly bitter finish. Pretty good if somewhat undistinguished pale; pleasant and sessionable.

355mL. Pours a clear light orange (SRM 6) with really no head formation and no lace. Aroma is orange, tangerine, citrus, lemon, something a bit off. Taste is cloying sweet, bringing on an instant headache. Taste is watery, cardboard, newspaper, barely malty or hoppy. Suddy to clean palate. Rather subdued to almost no hop profile in the body. Watery to cardboardy palate.

Bottle - Murky golden, bready a bit of faint citrus and pears all round. I’d much rather prefer the draft version I think.

looks great, pale with a solid white + head plus lacing. Aroma is barely there: bit of citrus, and bread. flavour is bread some subtle hops character and that’s about it. Nothing is out of balance with this beer, nor does it have any off flavours, it’s just not much of anything.slightly greater than average carbonation, balance dry finish. ok, probably best enjoyed on a 35+ day.

Bottle. Pale amber, huge white head that collapses to an inch. Very high bead. Grainy aroma with some pears. Taste has grain and fruit sweetness and insufficient and indistinct bitterness. Rather dull. Better listed as a golden ale in my view.
