Pours a cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus and hints of toffee. Taste is also citrus with a light bitter finish. OK

Tap. Clear pale gold body with a small white head. Aroma-taste of tropical fruit, bread with a spicey, somewhat harsh, bitter body and finish. Light to medium bodied.

On tap at Lord Nelson Hotel. Honey hued amber colour with a level white head. A fair bit of maltiness on the palate that leads to a long dry finish.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2010 drank at lord nelson. was expecting a bit more from this beer, very low on the bitterness, and almost watery. some citrus notes come through, but not enough to save this pale ale

Draught at Lord Nelson, Sydney. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Not a lot of aroma with only subtle fruity notes. The flavour is malt and a little fruit. The body is thin (which I found was the case with most beers at LN), and low bitterness in the finish.

MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - JAN 9, 2008
Draught at the brewhouse. Lets this one warm up like 90% of beer I get from here. Arrived a light brown with orange highlights and a creamy white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was mainly of butterscotch with sweet toffee malts and some vanilla. Taste was malty with a mild bitterness, some caramel more butterscotch and a nutty finish. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a short finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy gold in its appearance. Weak head. Does have a discernable hop aroma, but little else. Thin body and fairly boring beer.

22 Mar 2006 - Low sweet-hop aroma. Light cloudy, good head and lacing. Light fruity hop flavour. Bitter hop finish and hoppy aftertaste.
