3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ndon (857) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2010 drank at lord nelson. was expecting a bit more from this beer, very low on the bitterness, and almost watery. some citrus notes come through, but not enough to save this pale ale
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 nate2g (1548) - Boomtown! / Waikato, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 7, 2009
Draught at Lord Nelson, Sydney. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Not a lot of aroma with only subtle fruity notes. The flavour is malt and a little fruit. The body is thin (which I found was the case with most beers at LN), and low bitterness in the finish.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - JAN 9, 2008
Draught at the brewhouse. Lets this one warm up like 90% of beer I get from here. Arrived a light brown with orange highlights and a creamy white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was mainly of butterscotch with sweet toffee malts and some vanilla. Taste was malty with a mild bitterness, some caramel more butterscotch and a nutty finish. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a short finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy gold in its appearance. Weak head. Does have a discernable hop aroma, but little else. Thin body and fairly boring beer.
