This isn’t the Trafalgar Pale Ale, just the Pale Ale, which I couldn’t find so will just rate the Pale here. Not a bad beer. Good carbonation, good head. Not the hoppiest of Pales but very drinkable. A bit like a lager actually.

Hazy light tan. Thin head. The nose is toasty, mushroomy, somewhat stale English hops. Balanced brew.

Cloudy burnt gold colour and a dense but short, white head. Malty with citrus fruits and herbs. Long dry finish saves the unexpectedly thin body. Rather a favourite of mine though I cannot place as to why - would much prefer an Anchor Steam Ale for its slightly bolder but just as easy to drink complexity.

Faint, fruity aroma. Taste of citrus and resin. Somewhat bitter aftertaste with hints of grape.

Described as an English Bitter at 4.2% ABV.
Hazy golden color, dense white head. Sweet, malty, herbal, bitter taste. Herbal, hoppy aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium high herbal bitterness. Sweet, herbal, hoppy scent. Plenty of laces from the head to decorate the glass.

Had on tap at the brewery. Malty on the palate with a long dry finish. Good session ale.

Pours a cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus and hints of toffee. Taste is also citrus with a light bitter finish. OK

Tap. Clear pale gold body with a small white head. Aroma-taste of tropical fruit, bread with a spicey, somewhat harsh, bitter body and finish. Light to medium bodied.

On tap at Lord Nelson Hotel. Honey hued amber colour with a level white head. A fair bit of maltiness on the palate that leads to a long dry finish.
