3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
CASK HANDPULL pint (!) at the brewpub, 17/08/12. Tawny copper with a creamy, well-maintained off-white top. Creamy soft, sultana, oak aroma. Soft maltiness with a nibble of chocolate-coated raisin; slight mineral tang, some Weetabix. Conditioned unlike any US beer I’ve ever had. A dull, pleasant, malt-led British sessions beer.
