COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

330 ml bottle. Pours clear golden with no head. Fruity aroma. Spicy and fruity taste. A bit of a bitter grassy palate.

A very creative, goofy design on the bottle. Clear golden colour. No head whatsoever. Dull bitter aroma. Watery taste, slightly bitter palate.

Light yellow pour, small head. First sips are the strongest, the beer turns Abit sweet, Bread flavor, mild hops, not a bad brew, could guzzle it quite easily, but nothing Special, for a German bottle, love the Label...Some Germans don´t mind having a Little fun!

33cl pullcap bottle, Südstar Getränke. Not the raunchy Viking dwarf, but the mention of "open cask fermentation" fascinated me enough to revisit the less than inspiring Lösch-Zwerg. Onset of a lemonade nose, with some hay and sulphur. Watery body, transporting apparently natural hop cones in low dosage, both a bready and a mineral edge and something lively that is hard to grasp - might be the yeast profile? A bit inconsistent and rough.

330 ml bottle. Thanks S! Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of grains, some butter and wet paper. Flavour of grainy malts, weak grassy bitterness, toned down herbal notes and sweetness. Light bodied, high-ish carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Drinkability is good. Decent.

Geschmack malzig würzig, leicht malzig fruchtig, getreidig.

Bottle on the train from Freising to Regensburg, Bamberg post Christmas jolly day 1. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Very simple, some sugary cereal, hints of alcohol, white bread, mild fruity tones, dough. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish with very faint hay bitterness, further cereal. Meh.

Bottle (from Rewe Freising), on the train from Freising to Regensburg, Bamberg post Xmas jolly day 1 - 24/01/14. Lightly hazed pale golden with a good sized white head that thins but retains. Nose is pale malts, straw, brad dough, light citrus. Taste comprises candied sugar, a caramel vein, bready, grassy. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitter notes in a sweetish closure. Ok Helles.
