33cl bottle from a kiosk in Berlin. Mild grainy aroma with herbal notes. Moderate sweet lager with a fairly decent bitterness. Drinkable, but hardly interesting. (2014-08-01)

Clear golden with very fast disappearing white head. Sweet malts, light yeast, some stone fruits, light herbal notes and some unripe vegetables. Ok beer but nothing too special or great.

33cl bottle from Rewe, Germany. Clear fizzy pale color, medium fizzy white average lasting fair lacing head. Aroma light banana, light sweet champagne in the nose, malty, fruity. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, hint of citric sourness. Light body, thin feel, lively carbonation, moderated sweetish finish with light bitterness which has a short duration. Not very exciting but very refreshing, easy to drink and great in a hot summer day.

330 ml bottle. Pours clear golden with no head. Fruity aroma. Spicy and fruity taste. A bit of a bitter grassy palate.

A very creative, goofy design on the bottle. Clear golden colour. No head whatsoever. Dull bitter aroma. Watery taste, slightly bitter palate.

Light yellow pour, small head. First sips are the strongest, the beer turns Abit sweet, Bread flavor, mild hops, not a bad brew, could guzzle it quite easily, but nothing Special, for a German bottle, love the Label...Some Germans don´t mind having a Little fun!

33cl pullcap bottle, Südstar Getränke. Not the raunchy Viking dwarf, but the mention of "open cask fermentation" fascinated me enough to revisit the less than inspiring Lösch-Zwerg. Onset of a lemonade nose, with some hay and sulphur. Watery body, transporting apparently natural hop cones in low dosage, both a bready and a mineral edge and something lively that is hard to grasp - might be the yeast profile? A bit inconsistent and rough.
