Pours a clear light brown with a small fully diminishing head. Aroma is vinous, with woody notes, tequila, alcohol and raisins / prunes. Taste is tequila-ish with loads of dried fruity notes, alcohol-warmth and wood. Semi-sweet but pretty complex with some sour and salty notes as well. Body feels slick, co2 levels are soft to avg. Quite special this one, but I kinda like it. I also like tequila.. :)

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Dark dark brown, thick tanned head. Smell of dark fruity malts, agave, tequila and oak. Very interesting and out of the box aromas! Medium sweet, a quick change to medium sour flavors of berries and fruits, tequila, agave, earth and soil, very complex stuff. Moderate bitter finish. An excellent sipper, quite far away from the rest of the world of beer!

Bottle from my parents-in-law, thanks! Murky cola colored pour with a smaller spotty head. Tart / sour dark fruit, wood, and tequila. Very cool beer. Lively on the tongue.

Bottle. Pours a hazy nut brown body with a small off-white head. Nose is a complexity fiesta of red berries, wood, tequila, herbs, black currants, vanilla, red wine and hints of grass, caramel, honey melon and raisins. Taste is raisins, red wine, wood, red berries, grass, herbs and hints of tequila and caramel. Full, creamy body, medium carbonation, dry and elegant finish. A wonderfully delicate potion of a variety of flavors, touching on elements from the traditions of wine, spirit and beer alike. Distinct originality to boot. Delicious and interesting.

(Bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Dec 19 2014) Dark reddish brown with a big fading tan head and a bit of lace. Aroma of tequila and oak really dominating, golden raisins, clean cheddar cheese type sourish funky notes. On palate, sweetish dried fruit and caramel malt core, agave, slightly tart, wood that builds as it dries, light cashew notes. There is some reposado type tequila character in the finish. Basically it is a fairly sweet Belgian ale damped almost completely by an agave and tequila barrel wood character and some subtle funk. Some alcohol heat. Medium full body and pretty soft carb. Not quite sure how to feel about this one as it is quite interesting even though the tequila character is anything but subtle. I wonder how more extended ageing might treat it?

Bottle. Aroma is tequila and grass. Appearance is brown with no head. Taste is a sweet amber that is almost completely covered up by the tequila. Palate is tequila with some tartness on the back. Overall, an ok beer. Too much tequila taste. Would have liked to taste more of the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2014 vintage on draft at Beachwood Seal Beach poured into a short footed pilsner-esque glass. Very dark brown opaque body with nothing but a few bubbles around the edge. No lacing. Aroma features wood, tequila, roasted malt, and brown sugar. Taste features brown sugar and caramel sweetness initially then some woody, smokey and boozy bitterness and spice on the swallow. Just short of full body, slick, sticky, oily texture, soft carbonation, and a long finish that coats the mouth with agave and malty sweetness.
