Bottle shared with tupalev, blankboy, HogTownHarry & jerc - blankboy’s bottle. Hazy ruby-orange, small tan head. Aroma is sour, woody & boozy, dark fruit and red wine - really nice. Moderately full body. Wonderful flavour - relatively sour and funky, with notes of wood, yeast and rad wine. A very successful experiment!

750 ml bottle via the Saints club and shared with highibus - Pours a hazy deep amber color with some floaties and a medium size light tan head. No lacing. Aroma is tart fruit, oak, and vinegar. Flavor is dark esters, oak, and vinious. Medium body. The oak really lingers on the palate. A decent beer, but I think I like L & F better.

Thanksto stevo for this one. Orangey brown, with a thin white ehad. Nice tart aroma, with notes of cherry and red wine. Flvor is very complex, but there are notes of cherry and some other tart, sour fruits mixed with a lot of oak and red wine character. Earthy, rustic finish. Very impressive brew.

Pours a way hazy mahogany with no head or lacing. Many chunks came out early on this one. All the chunks rose to the top so I went ahead and removed them. Aroma is vinous and sweet. Flavor is sweet mouthfeel is almost sticky. Some raisin and plum coming through. Great finish.
