3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden appearance, nice thick white head. Aroma is mostly yeast, some sourdough. Taste is mild, yeasty and more bread and barnyard funk, sour finish. Just okay, I was hoping from more.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours dark golden with sediments and a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is sweet malts with toffee, honey and flowery meadows, as well as a dark funkiness with yeast and notes of wood. Full body with an average to lively carbonation. Flavour is quite tart with yeast and malts with grain and wood, as well as notes of tobacco, vanilla, prunes and dark fruits, with a long astringent finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Expected a little more out of this one. Although, it is a very enjoyable brew with plenty of saison character and just a hint of funk. Just wish the funkiness had been showcased a bit more. O well...mountain lions are the biggest cats that purr...

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
2013.06.21, bottle bought at Birofilia festival in Poland. Pours light orange, somewhat hazy, with nice, although not too stable, white head. Aroma is hop forward, with prominent citrusy and grassy notes. Same notes dominate the flavor, together with yeasty character reminiscent of belgian ales. Toasty, malty character is present, but not very pronounced. Pleasantly dry aftertaste. Overall, a very enjoyable and well balanced beer, although I would expect more malty character from a biere de garde.

750ml bottle, thanks to DanielCoor for sharing. Hazy golden orange color. Thin white head, some decent lace. Smooth, lighter crisp carbonation. Bigger body. Light, toasty, lightly wheaty, light spicy aroma. Light zesty, light citrusy taste. Light sweet. Alright biere de garde

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared thanks to Tim and Rachel! Pours a hazy golden orange with fluffy white head that disappeared to thin cap. Aroma of light yeast, grainy malt, slight citrus, all faint, so not too positive. Taste is kind of like a pseudo Belgian IPA, slightly earthy. Not sure how I feel about it, balanced and easy to drink, nothing crazy though.
