375 ml bottle shared by stevemastny- thanks again, Steve! Pours a cola brown with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon, tea, oaky funk, chocolate, dark fruits, vanilla, and berries. The flavor largely follows the same lines, ending with bourbon booziness. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a warming, funky mouthfeel. Complex and fun to drink.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Peach tea and booze, black tea adds another tasty dimension. This was billed as worst of the box, but I kinda like it. 4 is still by far the worst. Stop thinking of it as a barleywine: it's just a tasty beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle... This beer rocks!… Murky brown ale with a short-lived, fizzy, off-white head. The complex bouquet furnishes layers of vanilla, peaches, vinous and woody notes, caramel, coconut, dates, milk chocolate and sour cherries. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor is big, bad and boozy – caramel, woody tannins, sweet toffee notes and bourbon with only a rumor of peach. Finishes warming, tangy and nourishing; flanked by a touch of coconut. Awesome beer!
