Big raspberry aroma, cherries are more minor. Sour sharp acidic raspberry flavor. Evaporates with a whiff of alcohol and a dry, lightly astringent citrus zest note.

Pours murky ruby red with a thin off white pinkish head. The nose is raspberry, strawberry, cherry, lemons and funk with some soil. The taste is very high sweet, high sour and no bitter. Hearty one this one. Texture is crisp, super clean, heavy body and a long finish.

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Cloudy rose-colored ale with a small, pinkish-white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a funky, fruity menagerie of ripe raspberries, barnyard character, red wine, aged-cheese and acute acidity. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. The flavor is fruity and ridiculously sour. Loads of fruity, sour raspberries, sour cherries and clean acidity here. Nice sweetness too, although there’s not much of it. Super sour overall. Tart, fruity, mildly dry finish. Absolutely, positively world class all the way!

Huge thanks to ehammond1 for making this happen. Served in a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Pours blood red with some violet highlights. Good initial head fading somewhat quickly into a few rings of lace. Pink tint to the head and lacing. Collar as it goes down. Cherry wins the battle over raspberry here.
The nose is full of ripe raspberry with cherry coming in underneath. Some vinous notes along with a faint earthiness. Moderate acidity that is very reminiscent of Framboise de Amorosa. A bit of cherry skin, but the raspberry pulls through much more.
The flavor has some initial strong cherry and pit, plus a good dose of skin. The raspberry quickly takes over, pushing the cherries to the background. Really ripe cherry with each sip. Still no orange anywhere, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Mouthfeel is light-medium with moderate carbonation. Moderate acidity, but not over the top like a lot of Lost Abbey sours. Finally jus a bit of orange peel in the finish as it warms up.
Overall, really impressive, but was a bit heavy on the fruit, and the underlying beer lacked the depth to take it to the next level.

Lost Abbey track beer tasting.
So excited about this one, as the recipe sounds amazing.
The beer is ruby hued with a thin, soapy head. The aroma offers raspberries, yeast, funk. A touch of sweet fruit at first, finishing with a sour candy tartness. Classic Lost Abbey funk. Ample berry flavor with a puckering finish. I prefer Veritas 006 to this, but this is a tasty brew nonetheless. Medium in body with adequate carbonation. Sourness gains intensity as I progress through the beer. Overall, this was very good.

(Draught) Pours a cloudy reddish brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma of raspberry, cherry, grapes, and yogurt. Flavor of raspberry, cherry, pedio, lacto, citrus, green plum, and oak.
