Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a dark brownish color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity sour tart malty spicy aroma. Fruity sour tart spicy flavor with some yeasty hints. Has a fruity malty sour tart brett finish.

Bottle shared by pepsican. Thanks! Poured a murky brown color, nearly opaque. The head was light tan. Smelled of red wine vinegar and unripe cherry. Medium bodied, dry, and tart. Fruity unripe cherry, spices, dried dark fruits, and a bit of booze.

[Bottle] shared by Jimmy. Thanks! Slow but persistent gusher, pours hazy brown with a large tan head. Aroma is a barleywine lover’s dream – fig, wine and light bourbon barrel, raisin, alcohol, light tannin, but with a light tartness hiding in the background. The flavor is very tart, tannic, very sharp, very unlike any of the three main components, raisin, moderate acetic acid, prickly carbonation. As much as I like sour, I would really like to try this before it was funkified.

750ml bottle from notes. Spicy, acetic aroma. Cinnamon, ginger with a hint of rosemary. Red wine grapes, wine soaked oak and acetobacter. Pours a murky, hazed brownish/red with a thin film of gray atop. Flavor showcases spiced fruits (prunes, plums and raisins). Very zesty and tannic. Strawberry seed tartness. Lots of spice (rosemary being the most dominant). Slight, but not overbearing acidity. Lovely carbonation with a tart, slightly sweet, oaky finish. Thanks Nate!

Bottle sample. Dark reddish brown pour, some carbonation and an aroma of tart red grapes. Flavor is bittersweet white grapes, good effervescence, slightly boozy and good and tart on the finish. Great beer, although it tasted nothing like the original beers in this blend.

Pours a clear dark mahogany brown with a medium-fine, light tan head. No problems with the carbonation here. The aroma is tart and malt-driven with dark fruits--including a hint of Concord grape--and soft spice and earth. Flavor is sour with dark, spicy malt and slightly sweet prune, raisin, and black grape notes. The body is light but has some weight to it. The good carbonation delivers the complex flavor profile evenly and deliberately.

750 thanks to Andre. Over carbonation even thought it has been sitting awhile. Really nice ruby dark color. Taste of wine, vinegar, cherry, plum. Very lovely sour aroma. Fantastic beer.

Bottle. Reddish brown body with a medium light tan head. The aroma is cherry, acid, barnyard, dark ripe fruit, dirt and berries with some earthy touch. The flavour is sour cherries, barnyard, raisins, dark fruit, berries and brett and ends up quite dry with some sour/sweet kick. Very nice indeed!

Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of wood, vanilla, brettanomyces, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is acidic with notes of brettanomyces, lacto, wood, over ripe fruits, and spices, leading to a tart finish.
