4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750ml bottle acquired via trade on BA llong ago. Thanks, bro. Finally popping this in honor of the Rose Bowl. Bottle with a big hiss but no real gushy qualities as expected. Deep ruby sunset hue is well hazed, a bit rusty with cherryskin and red wine Rose glow. A bubbly carbonation driven head is a bit pinkish, bubbly film with a mellow filmy layer, subtle lacing in that smaller ringer. Aromas are pungent cherryskin and sour cherries, lactic life, and cranberries. Red wine jabs, cutting lactic twang is citric, sour and fuzzy. Some gentle peach, punchy sour fruit, yogurt and tannic cherryskin and grapeskin, wine barrel and subtle vanilla. Some decent house funk, earthy malts and a lovely fruity melange of life behind it. Initial is fuzzy, fruity and sour. A firmer bretty life hits the palate up front, spicy and funky cobwebs meet cherries, tart and seedy with red wine grapes moving in a bit. A nice cherry element absorbs that fruity and sour, even keeled and not brash base Cable Car offers. Tangy cherries, a dry bretty backend. The nose and color here really are the stars of the show. A potent punchy and fruity front end leads into a more bretty, oaky backend. Some gentle yogurt, cobwebs and dust. That cherry, cranberry and subtle red wine character meets fuzzy and dry funk, some mellow oak, tangy cherry juice trail out with subtle bready malts, yogurt and linger red grape, cherry, and funky bretty life. Citric orange, cherry and that brett character, dry and horseblanket type appeal, is firm but hits at a particular moment. Finish is dry, tart, some lactic twang and funk meet gentle oak, subtle tart grape trail out. This stuff is pretty on point. World delivering nose and pretty pour lead to a pretty sound sour beer, a fruity and sour front end shows some tart and tannic appeal, distinct hammer of brett that really makes itís case heard. A bit tart, dry and tannic as we finish up. The fact that Cable Car is the base (a pretty masterfully created and blended product on itís own) is quite apparent. The cherries add another layer but perhaps cover up some of the vibrant citrus and pineapple from the base. All that said, this stuff is world class. I O W A, baby!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle shared at the Moeder Lambic cellar tasting 2015. thanks a lot to fux for sharing! this was a fun time opening, hearing the rumors that it suppose to be a pretty gusher, opened above the sink, slight gusher. but havenít lost that much beer. the beer settles into a hazy dark pink to more orange colour, with a more of a white head instead of pink. nose is a mixture of sweet and sour cherries, with a slightly overpowering note of cinnamon and a lot of cherry pits. itís way more sweet as i was expecting. getting more acid tart notes as itís starting to breath. combined with some oak notes, old dusty funk, and sweet cherrie pie, taste has sweet cherries, slightly citrus, cinnamon, with a way more clearer note of acid compared to the nose. sweet charry marmalade, oak, and some vinegar tartness and leather aswell. mouthfeel is a bit carbonated but not overwelming. itís still very fruit forward, and i think the age has given this beer a more sweet and cinnamon flavor to it. wich i really like. compared to the veritas 12 this one wasnít sour lactic at all! cable car kriek is just an outstanding beer, but in the end itís canít compare to a belgian lambic. but for me itís indeed a lot better compared to the regular cable car. and in the end iím just really thankful that i had the chance to try this rare beer! from which i never had the idea i would ever try this one! thanks again for sharing guys

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle shared at the Moeder Lambic cellar session 2015 thanks to Fux. Pours cloudy amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma of tart cherries, dusty funk, spicy notes and cinnamon. Flavour is light sweet and moderate sour. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall a great beer, not worth the value of course, itís a US sour thatís as good as the Belgian classics. Impressive, and very pleased to have tried it.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy pink orange with large frothy white head that lasts leaving sticky lacing, chunks of cherry floaties. The aroma is strong cherry skin, oak, spice. Medium mouthfeel with strong cherry skin, light funk, oak, jammy, light cinnamon spice, lingering tartness, easy to drink, really enjoyed this one.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours cloudy and straw-colored with a rose tint and a small, fizzy, white head. The aromatics are very earthy, tannic and woody with light components of cinnamon and cherry. Full-bodied and creamy with tingly carbonation. The flavor is a fantastic, fruity, sweet-tart experience. A huge cherry character is acccompanied by light woodiness, mild earthiness and a terrific balancing act involving loads of sweet fruitiness, maltiness and fairly sharp, clean acidity. Finishes crisp, fruity and tart. A big pat on the back to the entire South Florida Crew for pooling our resources in order to land this world class white whale. It did not disappoint!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Snifter pour at Eclipse release party. Aroma and flavor was cherry and a tart, peach/apricot yogurt aspect. Both CC and CCK seem similar. CCK may be slightly better, but I didn't have them side-by-side, so... Anyway, excellent beer!
