American hopped saison.

Editor’s note: The 2009+ versions are spiked with Brett at bottling. Bottles from 2009 are marked as such, although 2010 and 2011 bottles appear to not note the vintage on the label, but might be printed on the neck or base.

Good scent very fruity. Not too hoppy. Very balanced between fruity & bitter. If you’re a fan of Lost Abbey this is worth a try.

Decent saison. Pours cloudy yellow, big white head and lots of lacing. Palate starts dry and chalky, somewhat grassy. Body gets a little heavy and I think somewhat undercarbonated, it has what seems like an alcoholic taste. I don’t think that’s what it is given the ABV, but that’s what it feels like. Finshes fine, could be a little dryer. Not on par with dupont, but it’s not bad.

75cl, Vintage 2012, American brew, with Brettanomyces, thx to Jeppe!, complex brew, floral/woody and slightly bitter/fruity, balanced, cloudy, rocky head, good brew, yet expensive!

Bottle at home with Nik Da Sneak. Poured a hazy golden orange with a frothy white head and decent lacing. Fresh citrus, lemon peel, spice, pineapple, light funk, and herbs in the aroma. Taste is medicinal, white pepper, clove, pineapple, sweaty foot, basement, and citrus ending lightly spicy. Mouthfeel is medium with fizzy carbonation. Really easy to drink, light and refreshing.
