COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American hopped saison.

Editor’s note: The 2009+ versions are spiked with Brett at bottling. Bottles from 2009 are marked as such, although 2010 and 2011 bottles appear to not note the vintage on the label, but might be printed on the neck or base.

Draft. Thin head and the cloudy appearance of a wheat bear. Nose has a slight tinge of funk on it but is mainly sweet with a honey character. Taste follows suit, a bit like a wit. Great session for watching the Blackhawks.

Bottle at Ølbaren. Spicy, sharp, round and sweet. Very complex and balanced saison. Maybe a bit too much alcohol for my taste. It's very apparent in taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from unknown via Dean. Pours a cloudy golden color, lots of fluffy head. Aroma slightly funky, some citrus. Body lively, with some spice and citrus. Finish fluffy and tasty, not too bad.

Bottle 1 pt 9.4 fl oz thanks to Knä (non-ratebeer), sampled on September 20, 2014.
Cloudy orange color, smallish white head. At first banana and saisin yeast scent, then some lime zest and alcohol, also berries. Yeasty, rubber, fizzy taste. Dry yeasty aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Draft sample at the brewery. Slightly cloudy gold color with a small white head. Mellow aroma of perfumy malt and banana. Flavor is almost straight Beligan ale with a nice Brett kick. Good.

The aroma is fruity and hints of grass. The taste is sour but still in a fruity way. Weak bitterness which fills the upper part of the mouth of a weak moment. A little too sour for my taste. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle, 0.75l, shared with Hoppiness crew. Cloudy golden color with large foamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of spicy yeast, barnyard, citrus and honey. Taste starts sweet vinous, follows by yeasty and fruity esters with mild tannin and hoppy bitterness at finish. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Very weizen-like...
