Our first release of the embodiment of good versus evil in a barrel-aged blend. Part bourbon barreled The Serpentís Stout, and part brandy barreled The Angelís Share, this is our most anticipated release of the summer.

Draft at bistro on bridge. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. The aroma is filled with vanilla but has plenty of fruitiness from the brandy barrels. The taste has bourbon, caramel, chocolate, coffee, brandy, wow.

Sweet vanilla bourbon barrel flavors. Nice fading head. Sweet sticky on tongue. Very thick. 5 oz is plenty. Interesting smoothness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12.7oz 2013 B bottle. Very dark brown with red highlights. No cap. Aroma of brandy!, raisin, wood, chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Taste is sweet and bitter, with a hint of sour. A coating mouthfeel, that is quite balanced with a medium dryness and low carbonation. Abv is quite subtle.

Not too exciting aroma wise for me. Fruity, slight bit of chocolate for me on the finish, definitely getting some brandy in there too. Initially some sweetness. I have the flu so my palate isnít what it should be. So maybe a rewrite when healthier. Highly enjoying this one. Pairs well with some Master Kush.

A in ny book. It has been a Lost Abbey holiday season and this has been one of the best. Out if this world taste - rich, complex, with a unique combo of brandy and bourbon aging. Price point high but worth the exoerience at 12.5 abv.

Sampled in a small bomber. Aged probably two years. A really high power brew with big time malts. Served at room temperature which really opened up this brew.

12oz bottle split with friends at a tasting. You can definitely smell the barrel aging, but it does not come through (hot wise) in the taste. Great beer.
