Dec 16, 2007 On tap at the brewery. A goden amber pur with a gooey tight lace. An aorma that remindes me somewhat of corn and hops. A flavor that cries out earthiness and adjuncts but hops kick ass as well. A very good lingering bitter. Carbonation is very good mouthfeel is solid but just a tiny bit thin. Oveall good beer a very pleasant drinker.

Dec 14, 2007 750 bottle from the Patron Saints club. Glad I joined this club-better than the golf club!! Pours bright gold with a small white, loose head.. Very carbonated. Nose of funk, biere de garde, barnyard, spices, alcohol. Sweet. Taste is the nose, barnyard, wet blanket, tons of spices, pungency, earthiness. Body is soft, fluffy, carbonated but it really smooths out as it warms up. NIce saison style beer. Good job guys.

Dec 9, 2007 golden orange with fizzy white that quickly settle to frothy little islands. some spotty lacing, but nothing out of the ordinary. yeasty/ grassy notes with a spicy bitter finish. Im gonna go out on a limb here; this would be a great summertime beer.

Dec 7, 2007 Cloudy peachy colored pour. Nose of hop, little bits of grass, notes of bread. Flavor is ok, light hop, bread, and on a lesser note pepper and fruits. Quite drinkable, would love it to be a session beer for a few months even.

Dec 7, 2007 Belgian? Tastes more like a fresh American ale to me. Loud piney aromas of hops, with a dose of fruits in there somewhere. Lots of hop flavor without that much bitterness, which is not common these days. Toasty dry finish with lingering hop oils, Noble hops? Ah, what do I know. I liked it for what I would consider a "hoppy" beer.

Dec 6, 2007 Bottle. Not what I was expecting at all. Though I didn’t read any ratings, I was thinking this would be a bready, clean belgian. Not the case! Quite hoppy, bitter, belgian yeast is noticeable but doesn’t really play a central roll in the beer. I think I’d more quickly call this an APA than a BA. So it goes. I’m not really that crazy about the whole hoppy belgian thing... some of them are great, but belgian styles are so clearly defined and so delicious, when a brewer just decides to amp it up in a typically American way with more hops it often bores me.

Dec 4, 2007 Bottle from dirty_martini. Thanks Larry. Pours an extremely cloudy golden orange with a thick white head that lasts making for some nice lacing. Nose is bready, yeasty, and slightly hoppy--right on target for a nice belgian ale. Very smooth flavor that mimics the aroma with a nice spicey hop finish. Easy drinking, alcohol hardly noticed. A nice, and highly sessionable, belgian ale.

Dec 3, 2007 Beer pours attractive golden color with a big, egg white head that is totally retained. Aroma is fairly muted, with some rich baked bread and a light hop aroma and pepper. Flavor is likewise subtly with a nice light hop bitterness and lots of spiciness in the finish. A bit of dough and earth as well. Beer is wonderfully constructed in the sense that the carbonation is perfect and the texture of the beer is wonderful.
