Oct 18, 2007 Light hazy fully golden colour with a dense white head. Malty, sweet aroma with fruity and light spicy notes with a vague hint of alcohol. Malty, fruity flavor with spicy notes and hints of yeast. light dry finish.

Oct 13, 2007 Lovely pale yellow with lots of foam, normal Belgian yeasty aroma. Leaf dry hoppiness that works with the yeast, and works up in the finish a fruity and grassy climax. Well done "blonde".
Finished the bomber myself at lunch, I was tempted by the relatively lower ABV. It was a good pale Belgian.

Oct 12, 2007 Updated: Oct 21, 2007Re-rate, 10/07, bottle: A bit too malty/sticky for a Belgian Ale, this thing approached a saison, although a decent and competent saison. Plenty of hoppy dryness in the finish, light spicing, but the caramel and fruity malt profile was actually a little bit sticky, too thick/bodied for a great Belgian ale, although enjoyable, nonetheless. Original numbers stand. Original Rating: KSBF07, special little keg. Orangey-amber color, nice initial head. Aroma was floral hops, wheaty grainy malt base. The flavor was firm floral hops, fruity notes, with a citrusey-wheaty slight sourness. Earthy yeasty finish, body is hearty, somewhat crisp. Looking forward to the 750 in my cellar, although this was surely no Orval, not nearly as complex.

Oct 12, 2007 Very clear pour, color is pale orange and very clean, no haze at all. Aroma is light and floral with a touch of citrus. Flavor is a very smooth with a really clean aftertaste of green apple/honey/wheat/malt. Low in alcohol and very easy on the tongue.

Oct 7, 2007 Bottle. Clear, brite, pale copper color with a large white head. Somewhat sweet malt aroma with notes of spice and grass. Dry and light on the palate. Griny malt flavors with some apple and wheat or straw notes. Much bigger hop bitterness than I expected. Very dry finish.

Oct 7, 2007 750, corked and baled. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a towering thick platinum blonde head that squeezes through the top of the tulip like a pencil eraser with its high beams on. Mild grassy and lemony nose, not really much of a prepared statement for the olfactory media today. Medium body, nice harsh tingle to the carb. Refreshing in an assertive way. Lemon and hay and biscuit on the mid-palate, with some resinous west coast hops wriggling through for attention. Another lovely turnout by Mr Arthur, but not quite the beer of distinction that Red Barn is.
