3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ my brothers (Vac) & Abby’s (zug4abby) house warming party. Poured a golden color with an off-white head. Floral aroma with a little citrus and fruits in the background. The flavor is much the same with floral and light fruits but also a mild bitterness. Light to medium body, slightly higher carbonation than expected and dry.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. Michael Jackson Rare Beer Club selection. Golden amber in color, slightly hazy with a thick and lingering off white head. Lots of fruit in the nose: apples, pears, and some subtle citrus. More hoppy in aroma than you average Belgian Ale. Medium in body with full carbonation and a real smoothness on the tongue. A very nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2008 750ml. pours hazy golden with foamy white head. nose is earthy, mothy, slightly anti-septic, coriander, yeasty, pear, and diacetyl. flavor is better, refreshingly crisp and dry, caramel malts laid out on spritzy light fruits, pear, lemon, dry apple, yeasty, and cookie. diacetyl too. pretty tasty stuff. carbination is lively and mouthfeel is full. finish is very dry. a tasty refreshing beer.3.5
2008, fresh bottle, very tasty noble hopped single with lots of floral and spicy hop notes, this beer has improved since its first bottling.3.8.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 ml bottle thanks to drewbeerme. Pours a bright orange color with a white head. Nose is citrus, yeast, spice, and florals. Malty flavors lots of yeast spice and florals with a grassy bitterness that finishes dry. Pretty decent but nothing to special for lost abbey.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ Lost Abbey:
Apparently, according to the guys at the brewery, this recipe is based loosely on Westy blond. Light, golden color and a nice spicy aroma. Flavor is smooth and mild with a nice hoppy flavor. The hoppiness is interesting because it comes from a euro hop rather than an American hop variety. Pretty damn nice beer. An everyday, warm weather beer. I shall be drinking many of these this summer.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Stone. Golden yellow color with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast and raisins, bright palate, taste of bread, grapes, and bitter finish. Sweetness is very well balanced with the hops.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2007 Bottle from the brewery... Pours a nice golden color, thought it would be a bit more carbonated. Also suprised by the heavy amount of bitterness and hop flavor.... def should be considered a beligian/IPA combo. Very smooth, nice and quenching!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2007 From a 750mL Bottle. Pours a transparent golden color with light honey streaks and a rocky layer of soapy white head. Looks to be a bit undercarbonated at this point, so I’m hoping it will continue to condition a bit further. Clean, fresh, floral aromas of budding dandelion flowers and a warrior-esque grassy hops wave, although not so bitter. Underneath lies a gentle layer of soft malts with a clover honey character and a yeasty whiff of fresh bread dough kneaded with green raisins and italian parsley. Light bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel. Could use more carbonation to crisp up the body a bit, although its perfectly refreshing on draft. Starts out with a dose of herbal hops blending nicely with a bit of light caramelized malt. Nice, dry, and refreshing, with a lingering bitter hop finish. A light yeasty character kicks in about half way through the palate as well, but presents itself as some light breadiness rather than any noticeable spice character. Very nice Belgian IPA. The perfect sessionable beer with more carbonation.
Carbonation fixed with another month of time. Very refreshing, enjoyable, sessionable beer. Clean, with no undesirable flavors.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted at Port’s 1 year. After all the heavy samples that i had this was very refressing. Went down sweet with a little sourness at the end. Overall a good beer for a nice day
