Ungstrup (14758), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 31, 2008 Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong ntoes of hops, giving it primarily grassy notes, but also lighter notes of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of grass and grapefruit. Thanks Jeppe for sharing. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 1, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Bierkönig. Hazy, pale golden with tiny impurities and a dense, off-white head leaving some laces. Lightly floral nose with a touch of citrus. Medium body with a very light malt base and a distinct, astringent bitterness. 280907 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 16, 2008 Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Pils-like hazy golden with brief lively head. Grassy malt with butter undeneath. Dry, yet fruity with medium body. The grassy malt and hay-like hops makes it reminiscent of a pilsener, but fruitier. Mineraly finish with lingering bitterness. The mouthfeel is cleaner than in my dreams, but it remains very drinkable. I really appreciate the effort to brew tradition style laid back beers, but this is no real masterpiece yet. For ultimate perfection perhaps 10 generations of practive is needed? yespr (11649), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 5, 2007 75 cL bottle, thanks to Bierkönig. Pours hazy orane with a white head. Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Feb 17, 2008 Hazy dark straw colour. Slightly barny, baguettey nose with ample continental hop goodness. Sweetish pale malts on the palate with a bitter, earthy, yeasty, dusty, bready character. Really pleasurable drinking.
