Slightly hazy, golden orange with a thin, quickly dissipating white head. Light grains, sweet mango, light honey, orange, apricot, yeast and some residual sugar. The body is smooth, but also fairly thin. Nice carbonation that is lively enough to make it’s presence felt without being too strong upon the tongue. The flavor starts sweet with nice depth and fluidly transforms into a healthy, but not overpowering bitterness. A lovely beer that appropriately closes out the summer.

750ml bottle (June 2011) pours hazy orange with big 3 finger head. Lots of sediment. Still has a ton of carbonation for a 2.5 year old bottle. Nose is earthy apple, fruit, some hay. Taste is apple juice, fruity, earthy, orange. Finish is fruity, some sweet citrus notes, malt. Held up surprisingly well for being this old.

Draft at brewery. Pours golden with an inch of white foam. Leaves a lot of lacing. Itís got the crisp sweet Belgian thing of the nose. A bit of fruitiness on the tongue along with the Belgian yeast. The finish has a bit of grapefruit to, it which muddies the waters but makes the beer infinitely more interesting.

Aroma of belgian yeast and a bit funk, tastes like a Leffe but less sweet and with more hops.

Pours light yellow with white head. Waited for more intense aroma, but it wasnít there. Tastes like normal ale, nothing special. Too expensive for this kind of beer. Opens up a little at the end of the glass and I started to like it, but still nothing special about it.

Pours a nice golden with a soild quilt of creamy, tortuous head. Smells of grain, yeast, a little clove and vine, simple nose. Flavor is grain, metal, some botanicals, a little yeast, a little something I canít put my finger on but I like. Medium bodied with soft carb and a wet finish. I like. I would like more in a 12oz bottle for $2 each ish.

One of the least tasting beers I ever had. Totally stripped of any taste, 100% forgettable if it wasnít for the disappointment. Has a very slight malt going on and a bit of citrus, but other than that Iím very puzzled about how they managed to make it so anonymous - I couldnít do it! But Iíd almost rather have a beer that tastes bad, just to get some character; had a sip of paulaner while drinking this and it seemed packed with taste in comparison. Good call to use this for a base to brett in their Saint version though.

Dominating malts, quite yeasty, bit fruity with decent hops. Easy drinkable, but nothing special brew. Too pale for me, inexpressive. This is OK brew, but not for me
