3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle in a stemless wine glass. The beer pours a medium to slightliy dark yellow color, with an ample white head. The nose shows a pleasant, but somewhat surprising level of residual malt sweetness, along with less prevalent notes of yeast-derived fruit esters. The "Belgian Ale" strain seems to be the order of the day. The palate is drier than the aroma would seem to indicate, showing, malt, but more so a spicy, slightly fruity/phenolic, and almost Saison-like profile. Carbonation is assertive but not overbearing; mouthfeel is pleasant. The finish is nicely dry, leaving lingering notes of summer spices and a tinge of hop bitterness. Overall, a beautifully styled Belgian Blonde, surely one of the better examples of the style.

750ml bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 18-12-2014.
In short: some bitter golden ale.
Pours hazy bright golden with nice whiet head. Short head retention, some lacing. Citrusy, sweet aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is herbal, citrusy, moderate bitterness, some sweet flavours. Enjoyable, but nothing remarkable.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Binny’s in Schaumburg, IL. Slightly hazy light gold pour with a soapy white head. Aroma is yeast and hay with some lemon. Lighter bodied that drinks pretty clean. There’s a mild dryness to the finish that adds another dimension as well. Solid brew.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow straw colour with a small off white head. Nose has lemon peel, hay, spices, Belgium yeast and candied sugar. Very appealing. Taste is nice balance of spicy belgium yeast and lemon peel/citrus. Good balance of fruit and yeast. Juicy mouth feel. Nice sweetness in the bitterness. Decent.

this was the surprise hit of our san diego beer tasting...bright & cloudy straw yellow with fluffy white head. aroma pops right away...yeasty, with a hint of spice, peach, yeast and hops. diggin the tropical fruitiness in the flavor too. soft feel, like a hefe, with a nice, dry finish."

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is one gorgeous looking brew! A hazy deep golden-orange color with a huge fluffy off-white head that has a mind of its own. Velvety texture. Flavor is hoppy and dry but otherwise kinda bland. I kept hoping for more citrus notes or some of other dimension. Still tasty, but not superb.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Kinda woody, kinda cloudy, really tangie flat...but Ill accept for the style. Good dried fruit, I am guessing it needs time to come around...may be too young or not stored well.
