375ml bottle at the FoFA bottle share. Pours reddish amber/brown with a an off-white head. Aroma of raspberries, light funk, some tartness, and some darker malts. Flavor the same with the raspberries and sourness blending well. Average texture. A really good beer.

Draft pour at Toronado Lost Abbey night. Pours a dark red with a sour red raspberry aroma. As expected. Sour cherry and raspberry flavors with an intense, growing sour background. A little sweet in the end, but not in a bad way. A lot of hype with this beer and it definitely lived up to the expectation. Raspberry flavor lingers for a long time on this one. Memorable beer. Amazing beer here.

A murky brown with light white head. Huge tart raspberry scents. Huge tart raspberry smells with huge sour finish. Almost dry but still sweet sour prevails. Amazing thick big body make sure to finish a night of sours with this, if you start with it you will not taste the sours in something more subtle.

Bottle. Pours really hazy, some sediment, one finger light brown head. Aroma is brett, tart raspberries. Taste is only light sweet, first the raspberries and some oak, and then bombed by the really tart sourness. Creamy body. Long lasting tartness. Doesn’t let you go.

Bottle. Hazy reddish brown colour. The aroma has notes of balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, sour raspberries and oak. The taste is sour raspberries and oak with a very acidic almost burning sensation. Low carbonation and smooth mouth feel. Very nice!

On tap at Capone’s Lost Abbey event. This has lots of strawberry aroma and flavor, so framboises indeed! It is pretty sour, but there is still some sweetness - a little sugar is an excellent companion to our friend the framboise, imho. Vinous, without much hop or grain in the flavor. An excellent fruit/sour brew.

Bottle, 2013. Pours opaque red-brown with no head and lively carbonation. Aroma is excellent: ripe raspberries, oak, lemon zest, blackberry, cherry, some raspberry-seed bitterness. Taste is ripe sour cherry and raspberry with lean Flemish red sourness and big lemony and woody barrel notes. Slightly harsh finish. Excellent.
