Bottle to glass. Pours a murky mahogany brown color with a fizzy light brown head. Aroma is tart, classic Flanders character, with a touch or raspberry. Flavor is hugely tart, Flanders red malt character, lots of raspberry sour/sweetness. Lingering tartness in the finish. Absolutely phenomenal!

Draft at capones. Pours hazy brown with minimal head. The aroma has a ton of tart raspberries, slight oak, fairly sweet. The taste is extremely tart, raspberry, a bit vinegar, long lingering raspberry, a tinge of Apple. Amazing.

Raspberry hits HARD in the nose. Some malty, almost woody notes, too. Taste is extremely tart, both from the raspberries and the souring. Yeast isn't pronounced. A little malt and a touch of wood in the swallow. Again, really tart. Good beer, and it may age nicely, but I'm not really into tartness, so I probably won't fork over the $20 again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Nov 6 2014) Pours hazy dark reddish brown with a small fizzy off white head. Aroma has lots of fresh tart raspberries, a lactic sourness, some wood, faint caramel malts and a grassy vegetal character. Sounds simple, smells great! On the palate, bright and tart and full of raspberries, nice and lactic with acetic hints as well, woody notes, a little caramel sweetness, more and more tart raspberries, finishing with a moderate sour tang and bright minerality. Mouthfeel medium, carb soft but effervescent, feels great in the mouth. Tough beer to describe, driven by the berries but very concentrated flavour, good balance of tartness with malt core and more sour character, refreshes the palate and feels cleansing while leaving a nice aftertaste as well. Not cheap, but a wonderful sour.

Nose of cranberries, cherries, yeast elements. Looks like unfiltered cranberry juice. No fingers, minimal head. Feel seltzery carbonation on the front of my younger, quickly dissipates. Tart, with cranberries and cherries throughout. Long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy App
