Muddy, like pomengranate juice. The aroma is big raspberry with some light bugs and woody tartness. Tart, with dry berry character. Finish has yoghurty notes but is almost bone dry...nice.

Bottle, at Haandverkerstuene. It pours an unclear, reddish brown body topped by a fingerthick off-white head. Lots of raspberries on the nose, lemony sourness, barnyard and even more raspberries. It’s full-bodied, tart, nicely carbonated and smooth on the palate, with flavors of raspberries dominating. Lemon and barnyard chimes in, and it finishes tart and raspberry flavored. Although all the raspberry focus it feels balanced, and it’s sure a wonderful beer, with a lasting finish. Lovely. 110211

9th July 2010 Cloudy brown beer with a purple hue. Small pink head! Sourish malty and fruity nose. Semi dry palate, Tart fruits, acid worcester sauce. Acid lemon burn on the swallow. Trace of wet wood. This is a good example of sour beers gone silly. Way too sour and acid.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 thewolf (9992) - Kolding, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2011
Bottle, bought @ Den Lille Vinkælder, Fredericia.
Pour is light muddy deep red with a fine, staying, frothy white-pink head. Heavy tart aroma, lots of raspberries, funkiness, red apples, milky, some barnyard. Very fresh and with some sweetness to the raspberries. Highish carbonation, good creamy palate even if the carbonation makes it a bit too frothy. Flavour is lovely tart, again lots of fresh raspberries. Astringent, heavy fruity sour in the centre. Some mild caramel in the base. Very lovely, sad that the carbonation is a bit too high for its own good.

Bottle from Perry’s Liquor. 33 cl; c&c. Pours dark murky brown with a 4 finger lightly pinkish beige head. Bottle aroma is sour with a tart raspberry note. Sniffing head gives much less information - primarily berry. Flavor is sour with sweet raspberry. Sour wins. Very tart. The berry stays to the end. Grabs the mouth strongly. One of a kind.
