Commercial Description:
And so the Three Wise Men set out from the East bearing gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. Along the Way, they follwoed a bright light. The Bible neglects to mention if they brought beer or not. Who goes crossing the desert without beer? How smart are we to believe these wise men were? Since Cristmas is the season of gift giving more than receiving so please be a giver and share the Wisdom found in each and every bottle of our Gift of the Magi

Pours a rich amber color, with a thick and creamy head, that seems to hold on for dear life. The aroma is yeasty and spicy, with hints of caramel, dark fruit and bretty funk coming on strong. Flavor is redolent of the Holiday season, with candied fruits and sweet bread dough beginning the assault, which finishes very dry. Another absolute star from what is possibly my favorite brewer.

Pours a cloudy orange with a nice white head. Nose is mostly citrus and some funk. Flavor has some bread and yeast, a little bitterness and the citrus again. Finishes with some spices. Solid and an interesting beer. Some interesting funky flavor I like. Hides the 9.5% pretty well.

Courtesy dragonstout. Pours a cloudy amberish orange color with a foamy white head that is well retained. The nose shows notes of citrus fruit, coriander, some other spices, and some mild bretty funk. The flavor shows some citrus fruit paired with some bready, yeasty flavors. There is a good dose of spices and earthy hops to go with the brett to add a good amount of bitterness. Medium bodied with a creamy, carbonated mouthfeel that had a long, dry, and bitter finish. I was hoping for more sweetness, but the brett was in full effect by drawings things out and adding that usual funk. This was good, but not my favorite from them.

750 bottle. Hazy dark tan pour with a small white head. Very effervescent. Nose of spices brett??, old socks, alcohol. Taste: alcohol is upfront, spicy, malty, chewy, warming but harsh, easy to drink but not to swallow. Sweet yet bitter. An interesting beer but I’m not sure where they were going with this one. A good drinker, unique, but not a beer you’d put on your "must search out" list.

Bottle via trade from BOLTZ7555, thanks again! Aroma has notes of citrus fruit, bubblegum, yeast, and malt caramel. Nice average sized off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Medium golden/orange hazy hue. Flavor is citrus hops, caramel malt and finishes fairly bitter. Palate is medium bodied and lively. Good clean finish. Not a bad beer but this was still young. I’d love to try this one with a couple years on it.
