Finishes dry. DocLock (4047), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 23, 2008 Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid canary with 2-finger fluffy white head. Nose is rock sugary malt, apricot, honey, spicy yeast, funk, and white pepper. Tastes fruity, with apricot, orange, spicy yeast, floral, and white peppery notes. Rich, complex palate. Very nice example of this style. malrubius (366), USA Jul 20, 2008 750 ml split in Duvel glass. Pale hazy orange with lasting fluffu white head and lotsa lace. Lemony grassy aroma with mild yeast. Hint of orange creme pop sweetness with spicy mildly bitter extremely dry finish. Possibly the driest beer I’ve had. Did I say dry? Medium-light body, a touch of thinness, perfect for today at 95 degrees. Excellent. MaltOMeal (237), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA Jul 18, 2008 bottle shared thanks to zinister. Lightly sweet malts with more spice notes, lightly grassy and bready with some faint citrus flavors. Lightly sweet malt finish with the aforementioned spiceyness. An easy drinkin Belgian Strong.
