COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Corruption, Greed, and Lust. They’re all represented on the hooks of today. Tomorrow, they’ll be stinging Gluttony, Desire, and Sloth. Go ahead. Tell yourself you’re better than all of them. But you can’t. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it’s all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don’t care who you sliced, diced, or cheated. No on is escaping this heinous place. Your roommate is an ax murderer. Eerily, he’s not threatening. How can he be? Here, the Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It’s already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life. At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow gold color with a massive rocky white head. Aroma of lemony wheat malt with fresh hay and yeasty undertones. Bitter lemon peel malt flavor, complex and bittersweet. Lively carbonation and fruity citrus malt/hops dominate the palate. Wonderfully refreshing and belgian-like. A little more pronounced and rougher than Duvel. More noticeable alcohol prescence.

Alengrin (1330) - BELGIUM - AUG 20, 2014
One of the Lost Abbey beers, this one imitating the Belgian Duvel style, apparently. Off-white, irregular, sticky head, warm orange blonde colour with vivid sparkling, clear but misty after adding the deposit but keeping its warm orange hue. Powerfully fruity nose of pineapple, orange juice, apple peel, vanilla, ginger, banana liqueur, white wine, honey, pepper; overwhelmingly fruity taste with sharp, fresh citrus character and strong, mineral-like carbonation on a smooth and supple, caramelly and honeyishly malty basis, bit oily mouthfeel, spiciness evolving into a long, aromatic hop bitterness with hints of citrus and tonic water, complex and dry. Very American and very enjoyable take on a classic Belgian style.

Active bottle foams upon popping of the cork. Yeast and citrus fruit dominate the aroma. Pours with high bubbly, foamy head, cloudy pale golden body. Taste is mostly grapefruit and citrus, list and bubbly mouthfeel, effervescent , some yeast on the finish.

Pours a hazy amber color with white head. Spice, yeast, and some light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes dry.

Hazy orange with an aggressive white head. Lots of candied orange peel in the aroma with some alcohol. Spicy flavors with a dry bitter finish. Lots of carbonation and well attenuated. Nice strong ale, although it is a bit one dimensional.

Hazy golden color with a massive head. Aroma is bread, fruits and a hint of lemon. Taste is like a Belgium style beer. Not my type of beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

More golden ale perhaps? Regardless a pretty good beer. Full throttle style with spice and sweet malts although it does tail a little in the back palate. A fair of fizz too, so much that it never really settled over the 30 min of tasting.

Hazy yellow with a huge head. Cork almost took my head off. Load of complex yeast notes, heavy on the brett but with a good balance. Some slight zest and citrus. Extremely good. Thanks ruffian!
