2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle (from beergium). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, spices, fruits, some malt. Flavor is sweet, spices, fruits, some citrus, malt, sugar, booze. Finish is dry bitter with lot of booze. Carbonation is rather high. Overall: drinkable, but very unrefined and very boozy. Not comparable to good Belgian Strong Ales in any way. It actually gets better when it warms up or when you get more drunk...
PS: Lost Abbey beer gets lower rating from me than from FatPhil?! Someone close the upside down gate quickly!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fantastyczną pracę tutaj drożdże wykonały - aromat przyprawowy, wręcz pieprzny, z mnóstwem owocowych fuzli i świetną brzoskwinią i skórką pomarańczy. W smaku lekko pikantne, rozgrzewająco alkoholowe, bardzo pełne i musujące niczym szampan. Pełen przekrój pomarańczowych owoców (brzoskwinia, morela, pomarańcza) i fajna ziołowa goryczka.
Wspaniały tripel, jak leją takie w piekle to mogę iść :D

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pepper and straw aroma. More gentle than expected but opening the bottle involved violent corking. Taste is very peppery. Tiny sweet and the spice from yeast is great. Light bodied, high carbed. Big stray color and lots of white head.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
8.5%ABV. Belgian strong ale.
Poured out gold. 6şSRM.
Nose has green apple, star fruit, phenolic nose with bandaids.
Mouthfeel is heavy soupy and almost syrupy. Strong alcoholic palate, but without the heat at the back of the throat. Bitter on front of the palate, pale malt sweet. The bitter is aggressive with tanins, sap and resin. The bitter is also woody, plantlike and reminiscent of when you have a sweet orange and bite into an orange pip.
Finish is woody bitter.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep golden color, hazy. Massive white head, beer seems to be over carbonated judging by the head and the cork that just blow from the bottle. Aroma is great, crisp and fresh, not very sweet and queasy like belgian styles can be. There’re notes of white wine, peach and tiny touch of alcohol. In taste there’re notes of fresh biscuits and cakes from the bakery. Also touch of caramel, fruits - especially in the back. Perfectly covered alcohol. In taste it’s not over carbonated at all, even more it’s almost flat. Nice but tiny body for such a strong beer. Very pleasant to drink. It’s top quality beer, no questions about that.

Bottle shared with ippopotamo36. Pours a yellow peach color, unclear, with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma of yeasts, citrus, orange zest, dust, cellar. Flavour is light sweet with a medium bitterness, citric, lemongrass. Medium body, over-carbonated. Ok.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle in Rome-Italy, courtesy of Mortlach. Thank you. Bright and cloudy gold pour, off-white foam. Nose: Belgian spicy, mild caramel. Mouth: far too gassy, a bit unbalanced, Belgian soul but a bit rough.
