The beer’s aroma is malty light breadlike smell with a hint of pineapple. It has some citrus lemon citrus hops which gives it a pleasant aroma. It starts off with a small fizzy head and the head lacing is good. The longevity, though, is mostly diminshing. The body clarity is murky and has small body paticles witin the yellowish orange hue. The initial flavor, to me, is sweet and the beer finishes off relatively sour. It has a light body and a dry texture with soft carbonation on the palate. The finish feel is moderately to harshly sour.

A cloudy yellow/orange concoction with thin white suds atop. Sour & Funky orange layered nose with a dab of tangerine zest and spurts of musty solvent. Flavors rejoiced in thick funky sourness balanced by a nice citrus background. My main concern here was the almost utter lack of carbination and a somewhat grainy unclean finish...but other than that, which for all i know could have been the tap line, it was stellar.

Bottle sampled at mgumby10’s thanks to TheCheeseMan: As far as appearance goes, this beer was a vibrant orange reminiscent of fresh-squeezed orange juice. Aroma is musty citrus, some light spice and wood. Oak or birch. A very, almost too, drinkable sour -- lemon rind is present, funk is present, no heavy sugars here, in fact, on the dry side. Sour funkiness clings to palate and the roof of your mouth for a full mouthfeel that just really makes this brew stand out from other sours. I think this could be the beer to convert non-sour drinkers for sure.

7th taster @ Stone Sour Fest 2008. This was the #1 beer of the day for me. Poured a cloudy burnt orange color. Tons of sour apples and citrus on the nose. Oak was abundant in both aroma and flavor. An awesome finish that was crisp and dry. By this point I was getting a bit tired of tasting sours, this beer gave new life to my palate and a new appreciation for the style.

Tasted at the Carolina Crew gathering, Greenville - thanks to Todd for sharing the gem of the night; for me. Muddy orange pour with thick fizzy off-white head. Funky green apple aroma. Tart flavor with a perfect dry finish. Hints of oak throughout
