A life worth living is full of discovery and we are reminded everywhere there is opportunity. All it takes is desire to seek out and find these things, these moments and everything in between. We brewed Lost and Found Abbey Ale to pay homage to the great monastic breweries of Belgium. Like us, we hope you’ll take the time to discover a beer that breathes aromas of figs, raisins and candied fruits. Please join us by raising your glass as we offer a toast to patience, perseverance, and all the things we have lost along the way and were somehow lucky enough to find once again.

Tap at Route CBC. It pours deep red-brown with a decent white head. The nose is toasty, earthy, some spice, caramel, dried fruits and rich fruit cake. The taste is toasty, earthy, toasted grass, caramel, toffee, dried fruits, candied peel, some alcohol warmth and a touch of Rivita. medium body and average carbonation. Doesn’t quite have the depth I was hopping for. OK, but there a plenty Belgian varieties that way better.

Bottle. Deep red browny. Bit sweet bready, plummy dark fruity, yes, raisins to some extent too, abbeyish yeasty character on nose. Med bodied, very smooth, real easy drink. Some spices, clove, some cinnamon. Sweet bready / dry cakey. Cola. Love the texture / palate, real smooth, hides the abv well.

Bottle to a wine glass Yeast, bread, currants, rose, and caramel malt. Hazy brownish amber with a thin, creamy light tan head. Malt, bread, yeast, mace, and clove. A quite nice beer.

Pours copper with quickly dissipating tan head. Smells of apricot and raisin. Smooth finish, it’s a quality beer I would drink often if given the opportunity.

Nothing much disappoints from this brewery. Prune fig and dried fruit aroma. Mild malty evident. Great palate and aftertaste of sweet plums. Fantastic.

Prune and fig on a dusty brown pour with white poof head, sweet flavor with raisin and prune. Finishes a little thick not bad.

Bomber - pours a nice mahogany brown with a fluffy off white head that quickly dissipates. It smells of rich sweet malts, dark ripe fruit, a hint of baking spice and herbaceousness. A mouthful is layered with fig, prune, tart cherry, caramel like malts and a touch of earthiness. Like fall in a bottle.
