COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A life worth living is full of discovery and we are reminded everywhere there is opportunity. All it takes is desire to seek out and find these things, these moments and everything in between. We brewed Lost and Found Abbey Ale to pay homage to the great monastic breweries of Belgium. Like us, we hope you’ll take the time to discover a beer that breathes aromas of figs, raisins and candied fruits. Please join us by raising your glass as we offer a toast to patience, perseverance, and all the things we have lost along the way and were somehow lucky enough to find once again.

This one pretty much matches the description on the bottle. Aroma of bread and raisins. Deep brown color with a little head. Somewhat heavy palate with a oily texture. The flavors were raisin, plum, alcohol, grains and sweet. Pleasant sipper. The flavors are more prevalent as it warms up.

Bottle into a goblet. Cloudy reddish amber with a persistent white head with some lacing. Aroma of figs, raisins, cinnamon, sugar. Taste is much the same with a real smooth mouthfeel. No booze. Really nice and easy drinking

Send flasken hit igjen...

Pours a copper color with a slight sweet raisin aroma. Taste is of raisin mixed with sugar, easy on the palatethe. A quickly dissipating aftertaste throughout the beer. Easy drinking for the alcohol percentage. A good beer for the style.

Clear brown with a pale head. Aroma is raisins, honey, caramel. Slightly sticky mouthfeel, sweet on the palate. Taste is raisins, caramel, figs. I was a little disappointed by this - it wasn’t a great example of a Dubbel and given that they say "Ale Brewed With Raisins" on the label I was expecting the raisin character to be a little more forward.

Bottle from Jason + Elizabeth. Pours a medium brown, slight off-white head. Aroma presents as very sweet, sugary, maybe brown sugar or cane sugar? Body is medium, finish very abrupt, perhaps even disappointingly so. Not much warming, and just kind of meh overall, especially for the style.

Bread, molasses, and raisins in the aroma. Flavor is sweet and bready with fruit and caramel. Finish has more hop bitterness than you usually get in a dubbel, but it balances things nicely. Love the style, love the beer.
