3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear yellow pour white head. Bread, dough, and light brett aromas. Ligth citrus notes, not real zip, some yeast and cereal notes. Light and thin. Not sure it has the brett punch I was expecting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
375ml bottle $8 Picked this up just because I have seen people clamoring for the Port version from back in the day and wanted to see what the fuss is. Its a cloudy orange beer, decent head. Smell is a slight bit of brett, fruity. Taste doesn’t have much funk or brett but the hints of fruit might be the brett? I could swear there was wheat too. This was not bad at all and easy to drink but not one I’d revisit. I will say at least it was cheaper than Sanctification but then again Sanctification is a bit better than this.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy golden orange pour with an aroma of funk, citrus, spice, and bread. Well-blended flavors of tartness, citrus, spice, and bread. Nicely balanced beer that does not overwhelm. Thanks to richlikebeer,

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from... somewhere. Bought this over the summer and let it sit. Now I’m drinking it. Pours hazy golden orange, minimal white foam, decent amount of white foam head that laces down to just a frosting on top with some continued bubbling activity thereafter. Aromas are mostly mild funk mixed with some hints of peach pulp/orange zest and mild spice in there. Taste is really nice and smooth. Clean, early sweet funk, followed by middle pepperyness, followed by a funky tangy finish. Like many of the other raters I agree it is all a bit understated, but there is a balance here that does a lot for me. The late and lasting fromage quality is endearing as well. Coats the inner cheeks and tongue nicely. This is a good beer. Not knock-your-socks off or anything, and yes, I’m sure it is overpriced, but still, gotta appreciate the quality.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled May 24, 2012.
Appearance: The body is a light amber/orange with almost no head even directly after the pour and there is no carbonation in the body.
Aroma: Slightly funky, with sweet orange and light tart.
Taste: The aroma matches the flavor very well, the brett is light on this with sweet citrus being the main flavor, very light tart, and a slightly spicy finish. This is very mild for a Brett beer.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.
Overall: This is a very mild Brett beer and I think that’s why this is getting such low overall ratings, that and the price is a bit high. This is a solid beer, but for the price I can buy a 4 pack of Rayon Vert which is much better.
