On tap. Pours with a very hazy golden yellow hued body with a medium sized white head that lasts. Aromas are wheat like, grainy, floral, peppery phenols, some grassy notes, orange, tangerine, lightly rustic phenolics, a touch of sun tan lotion. Flavors are of coriander, phenol, earthy, chamomile, a hint of funk, light esters (some tropical notes), grainy, dry. Medium-low phenols. Peppery. Lively bubbles, low bodied, dry. Tasty beer, but not very funky at the moment.

Bottle poured a pale lemon meringue with a small white head and notable lacing. Aroma includes lemon zest, floral notes, grass, and slight Brett funk. Taste is refreshing blend of citrus, palatable sour/tart stone fruits, pepper, and hints of Brett. Enjoyable crisp finish with flavors lingering.

Sampled from bottle thanks to Joes. Hazy a bit pale yellow color, small to medium sized fairly quickly diminishing white head. Smell malts, some sweetness and lightly sour. Taste malts, not very sour, almost a bit sweet even. Some fruityness as well. Pretty decent.

Bottle @ Joes. Slightly hazy golden yellow colour with a minimal head. Smells grassy, lemon, fresh, dusty. Tastes not that sour.. Just a bit fresh, some lemon, grassy, herbs. I expected a very sour beer, but it’s hardly sour. Thin body, soft carbo. More like a fresh triple then a sour/wild ale.

Drank at thirdeye11’s birthday party. After having previously tried the New Belgium version I was excited to try this one. Pours an orange-yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of brett in it, as well as some orange citrus notes. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of brett and leather notes, as well as a good bit of yeast, orange citrus and caramel malt. There is really not too much funk in the flavor as the brett mainly comes across as leathery. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Pretty good.

375mL bought back in May 2012. Cellared until December 24th 2012. Trying to coax some Brett infection out of this one. No dice. No Brett presence at all :( Pours a translucent lemonade color into golden with low haze. Smaller, white foam with okay retention and swathes of lacing. Nose is really nice: thick artisanal honey, lemonade, hints of Berliner Weisse lemonade, clean and no funk. Taste is like De Dolle Arabier or Stille Nacht with honey, candi sugar, oil, golden raisins, small caramel, banana dessert. Palate fluffy, dense, oily. Very Belgian in structure and I really like this despite its zero Brett character. I don’t think holding this any longer will develop any funk. Better drink it now and enjoy it for what it is, which is certainly not sour or wild.

12.7 oz bottle. Clear orange brown with white froth. Nose is green banana, pear, hay and lemon yoghurt. Oily medium body with a soft sparkle. Taste is green melon, toffee, green tea, yeast and grass. Could be really nice if it dries out some.

December 23, 2012 bottle from binnys. Orange pour with nice head that faded quickly and tiny bit of sediment. Aroma was bready, citrus and mild Brett. Taste was very mild, malty, citrus, some spice and maybe some brett. Palate seemed to be medium bodied, but was watery at times.
