Clear golden pour with a small white head. At this moment this is much like a fruity golden ale, very lemony. Aroma was earthy, slightly rustic, good bit of fruit, slight notes of brett up front. Slightly dusty, not sour or funky. Lively carbonation from the get go which was nice. This was actually really good and shows a lot of promise. As of right now though it needs a lot of time and is way overpriced.

At this point it’s really a golden ale, the brett hasn’t taken hold yet, but it’s a tasty golden belgian. Light and well carbonated from the bottle, it pours colden and has a light sweet flavor. Very drinkable and a good dinner beer.

12.7oz bottle from Binny’s Lincoln Park. Bottled on date of 5/24/12. Pours a glowing orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, fizzy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is sweet bready malts up front with wheat and a few Belgian yeast phenols and esters. Lots of tropical fruits, lightly tart pineapples, and a bit of a dusty funk. Flavor is similar. Sweeter bready malts up front with a bit of a grainy wheat backing. Mostly tropical fruits in the middle with a bit of a pineapple citrus before this finishes pretty dry with a bit of a dusty funk, earth, a slight alcohol warmth, and some sweet malts. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, not a whole lot of funky brett to this as of now, but a decent beer. Bready sweet malts with a decent amount of fruit and a light, dusty earth in the finish. Not bad, but was hoping for more.

Bottle; Pour is murky golden with a modest fine bubbled white head in this glass. Retains poorly, nearly no lacing. The flavor profile is sweet grains, and there is some funk here, with a bit of earth. Some light fruitiness is here as well. The flavor profile is more sweet grain, apricot, more earth and some mild cheese - this brew is mediocre by my estimation for what they were going for....

Concealer (145) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Poured from bottle. Orange/gold color with a white head. Earthy with slight fruit tones and brett. A good beer and better than the New Belgium version of the collaboration.
