Bottle. Sour nose, vinegar. Fruit, not one dimensional sweet. A robust Belgian ale coping with the Brett.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and good lacing. Bready, grainy, somewhat grassy, biscuity - really no brett present - cereal, and earthy aroma. Taste is light banana, somewhat estery, vanilla, biscuit, dough, a hint of basil, lacto, and grass. Medium body with medium-to-high carbonation. I sat on this one for a while hoping the brett would develop much more, however, this one is really disappointing. Pretty weak shit.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle from ølbutikken.
cloudy yellow, smooth white head.
clear flowery aroma, also quite bretty, quite dry, bretty dry but also clearly non-belgian aroma. Flavor is flowery, sort of lemongrassy, faint oranges, the sweetness works not so good with the faint bretty notes imo. Like a too-sweet saison, with too little yeasty spicy stuff going on. Lost abbey usually tastes a lot better than this.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12.7 oz corked n’ caged bottle, PDT 5/24/12- Pours slightly hazy golden with a thin crackly white head that reduces immediately leaving a thin collar. Aroma is slightly tart, wine grapes, pretty subdued. The taste is wine grapes, floral and fruity, moderately dry finish, some brett shows up as it warms. I tasted the New Belgium Brett Beer just before this, neither of them are blowing me away, very disappointed in this whole collaboration.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From Ølbutikken shared at Ohtsuki. Bottle 6.3% musty, stale hay, like a hay loft with a cross breeze from a fruit orchard. Not getting any of the metallic qualities I usually associate with Brett. The taste is clean, bready with just a hint of sourness on the finish & a touch of lemon. Not that complex but great stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Vibrant cloudy orange and golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is mildly spiced and yeasty, and the flavour is quite yeasty with some malty roastedness and that Belgian style spiced finish. Overall a strong enough tasting beer but pretty average.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very sweet and sour citrusy aroma. Color is like a natural orange soda. Flavor is a very light smooth Saison, hardly any Brett flavor. Goes down very smooth and light. More like a simple Belgian ale.
