3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled a the Brewery during RBSG. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. This was a different tyrp of saison, no pepper, no spice. I would say it’s a classic saison.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle from the brewery. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a 2 finger off white head that left great lacing. At first this beer was a bit to bitter and sour. As it warmed and I got used to its flavor, it rivals some of the better Saison’s I’ve ever tried. Lemon peel, herbal hops and Belgian yeast on the nose. Finish was yeasty with a hefty hop bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, sampled @ the brewery. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is grassy notes with lemon and detectable sour notes as well. Taste is the same, with a slight snap of hop bitterness at the end. I love saisons, and this is a winner.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample at Flagstaff AZ Made In The Shade Beer Festival.
Pours a hazy orangeish yellow with a fluffy white head. This brew has a Sour funky lemony grassy smell. Flavor is a touch of sourness, with some grassy and lemony taste and a little bitterness in the finish. Another winner from Lost Abbey.
