This Farmhouse Ale traces its roots to the small rustic breweries of Southern Belgium. The word Saison comes to us from the French language and it means Season. Lightly spiced with Organic Ginger, Orange Peels, Black Pepper and Grains of Paradise, this brew promises to quench your thirst on the hottest Southern California days or wherever your travels may take you. Available in 750 ml bottles and on draft at select inspired locations.

Editor's note. This is a new incarnation of SPF 45, previously brewed at Pizza Port Solana Beach

Pours a hazy straw yellow with a medium head of white foam. Very harsh and bitter. A little thicker body than Devotion but still not much better. Did not like it.

Metniste i jaskrawo zolte i lekko pomarańczowe.

Hay and bubblegum with some light citrus. Very nicely executed and very well balanced. Some funk. Hazy orange pour with good head and lacing. Soft carbonation and slick consistency. Light tangy finish. Very drinkable but still complex. Love this. Tap at Sovereign.

Bottle on the train back from the Brewdog AGM, thanks to Miss Swiggy! Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of bread, spice. Taste is more of the same. Rich texture, long spicy finish.

Pours a golden amber color with big fluffy head. Aromas of citrus, grass, yeast, and some dusty notes. Starts spicy effervescent, then to some grassy funky highlights...nice brett finish.

Sampled at a tasting. Hazy bright orange pour with a tall white head. Smells sour, salty, with notes of vinegar. Tastes like brett, grapefruit and caramel. Dry mouthfeel.

0.75 bottle. Hazy, gold color and a huge, white head of superb retention leaving at least some lacing. Aroma of citruses, Belgian yeasts, spices, bananas, cloves, and a hint of mayo, (suggested by a friend). Taste is sweet, spicy, a tad sour, definitely fruity. A medium body, a slick texture, and an above-average carbonation. Finish is long and spicy, a tad dry, bitterness overtakes sweetness in this particular case. Overall it is quite a nice beer but it deteriorates as one gets closer to the finish.
