From a 75 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a clear dark gold with a white head. Aroma of banana esters. More banana in the flavor with some toffee notes. Nice saison.

profumi floreali con note erbali, fieno, cereali, crosta di pane, un tocco acetico, lievito e sentori alcolici
[GUSTO]
note dolci e cereali iniziali a cui segue una certa astringenza acidula, note fruttali tendenzialmente citriche. Ancora si nota leivito. Nel finale subentrano maggiormente gli amaricanti, con contributi erbali a cui si aggiungono note alcoliche speziate. Retrogusto che rimane vincolato a note acidule.

saison interessante, con una buona dinamicità e varietà sia al naso che in bocca. Il tocco acidulo si fonde bene con uno speziato alcolico che crea un buon finale. alcolicità ben gestita ma che si fa notare.

750ml bottle. Hazy orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, yeasty and spicy aroma has a constant basical peach note in the background. Taste is initially slightly tart, yeasty and spicy, later dominates the basic peach note, slightly peppery in the finish.

Pours golden color with a medium head. Aroma of spices, ripe fruits, some citrus notes, herbs, grass and yeast. Flavor of yeast, spices, fruits, citrus and toffee. Decent.

Bottle, december 31st 2012. Bottle is a gusher, but hey it’s new years eve, bottles with this kind of kind of cap are supposed to spill when opening today. Guess I got myself a smart beer. It’s got a hazy golden body with a huge clean white head. Funky and citric aroma with spice. Taste is spicy, belgian yeast, wheat, pine and lemon. Really nice. Flowery and citric finish.

Shared with yiannnos. Pours a light golden colour, was expecting this to be more red as the name suggests. Lots of saison yeasty aromas. Citrusy with dry finish. Nice beer.
