Tart and floral with hints of peach aroma. cloudy golden color with a mid froth white head. Incredibly balanced light malt and strong floral at the start then mellows out nicely. This. Is. Amazing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured an awesome gold color but very unfiltered, no way transparent. Bright white head with long lacing. Smells mega fruity! Tastes just as fruity as it smells. Apples, grapefruit, orange & a bit of cinnamon. Mild amount alcohol is pleasant & blended well; gives way to the flavors. Can't taste the "Belgian yeast" in the aftertaste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Aroma of a sour ale but has a rosemary and a lingering dry on the palate. Pretty good but the after taste is a little off putting.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
January 6th, 2012 - Lost Abbey’s version of the Saison might be engineered for hot Southern Californian days, but it strays from the Southern Californian silver bullet of brewing: hops. Red Barn’s aroma is buttery and spicy, and then sweetened by a pronounced note of vanilla. The deep richness of custard supports this fine filigree of scents, and the whole concoction is topped off with a breath-taking touch of Iris. The flavor, like other saisons, is mild. A rich buttery texture dominates the background, while pepper and grass spiciness dance on the front of the palate, accompanied by a slight grainy sweetness, and a beautifully balanced, rich and creamy pastoral flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy intense yellow with orange, very intense color. Huge frothy top, white, diminishing medium fast leaving rich prolate lasing. Aroma - pleasant, intense, dominant malt sweet with sour yeast touch in vanguard.Notes of pineapple, old leather, flowery, caramel, ginger. Reminds bit of champagne yeast profile. Taste is medium sweet, light sour and min spicy on tongue, min astringent, plus medium to above medium bitter from hopping. Flavour is well combined, balanced indeed between yeasty-spicy side and malt softness, plus sour touch is more refreshing element than mess in this flavor. Pleasant saison. Palate dry finish from hops, medium plus body, compote-thick texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste - slicky mild herbal bitter.
