4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 mensch (186) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Cloudy yellow with a huge rocky white head. Aroma is sour lemon tart. Very fizzy. Really nice tart flavor, more lemon. Quite a bit of barnyard-style earthiness in the nose and on the palate. Not too sour, more of a funky, citrusy, beery kinda thing. I’ll age another bottle for a year or ten.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Hopped_Silly (235) - California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
2013 bottle. Dusty, funky, citrus and baker's spice. BIG carbonation. DRY. Orval-ish... Yeasty, yeasty esters... Bitter hop and Brett filled finish. Classic Brett nuances for sure. Solid. For the same price, Orval is more balanced, though this is definitely worth trying if you see it. Very good.
