COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by crisp white wines, Saison Blanc features New Zealand hops, golden raisins and white pepper for a decidedly bright, spicy, and robust low ABV beer. Finished with Brettanomyces at packaging, this beer will evolve for many more years to come.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy golden coloured with lemon, vanilla and spicy zesty flavours, slight tart fruit, honey and barnyard notes on the finish.

Sampled atvesbls. Very hazy yellow white. Sour flavor to say the least. And that is tart sour. Very bitter, too. But I got the dregs. Itvis zest. Fruit and soft malts. Probably not the way this beer is supposed to be enjoyed.

Bottle at Schouskjelleren. Lovely hazy gold. Apricots and funk in the nose. Sweet orange, barnyard, grapefruit in the finish. Just lovely.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma presents with dry chardonnay, citrus, lots of funk, barnyard, crisp green apples, some bretty stuff but not a whole lot. Also some earthy stuff, a dash of moldy age. Taste is initially sweet but quickly evolves into a mildly dry bitterness. Not much sourness, but more of a bubbly spicy/earthy feel accompanying the initial sweetness. The aroma is a bit tame, but the taste is quite fresh and nicely spiced.

375ml bottle thanks to Toby. Pours out a cloudy light straw topped with a small white head. Nose is spice yeasts grass and some pepper. Taste is as the nose with lots of spice notes and a nice touch of belg yeast.

phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - JUN 28, 2014
Hazy yellow pour with a small white head. Nose is hoppy and fruity - tangerines and apples, notes of peppercorns and a sweet-ish raisin note. Good subtle funk to it as well. Taste predominately funky - a clean fruity bretty character alongside a nice estery and spicy saison yeast. Green apple notes, crisp brett and a nice and bright hoppiness in the finish. This is a really nice, bright and clean saison that I could drink very frequently if it was A) available more and B) not as expensive and C) available in cans that are always cold and located in my fridge.

Hazy golden color with a large white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, spices, green grapes, and earthy yeast. Taste of citrus, green grapes, light brett, lots of yeast, and a dry finish.

Damico (3137) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Pours hazy lemon snow with a beautiful creamy white head. The aroma brings warming white wine grapes and some non funky smooth saison yeast. The flavor brings a well balanced dry white grapey body that settles smoothly without much funk having developed yet.

375 ml bottle split two ways. Cork opens with a small pop, pours hazy light yellow with a firm head. Nose has tons of yeast and some lemon peel. Taste has yeast, herbal notes, the pepper comes through a lot and some light funk.
