Inspired by crisp white wines, Saison Blanc features New Zealand hops, golden raisins and white pepper for a decidedly bright, spicy, and robust low ABV beer. Finished with Brettanomyces at packaging, this beer will evolve for many more years to come.

bottle at Hall Toll - Stavanger. Pours with literally no head but some white bubbles. Some Chardonnay flavors and light hops. Excellent flavor and fat match with cod served with mussels. Body is clear yellow with some opacity. Taste is lighter with light acidity

Bottle shared by czar, thanks! Pours a clear light golden with a thin white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is fresh, spicy and fruity. Taste is spicy and dry, pretty classic. Carbonation was high, body light and finish was spicy. Nice one, again, glad to have been able to sample!

Bottle (375 ml). Shared by czar, thanks! Hazy yellow with a medium persistent white head and some lacing. Aroma is dominated by sulfur even after breathing for a while, but there’s also an interesting fruitiness, yeast, peppery notes and a light brettanomyces presence. Taste is much better and without the sulfur... it’s quite herbal and yeasty with raisins, honeyed cereals and a wonderful fresh and long lasting peppery finish. Medium body. Moderate/medium carbonation. If it was not of the sulfur, I think this would be a great Saison. On style while integrating some nice component. The peppery taste/finish is doing wonders in this one.

12oz bottle, corked & caged. No bb. Danke an embrouille for the haul - let’s share this next time. Pours stylistically apt cloudy hay gold with fluffy mountainous head. Instant big vinous aroma (Riesling, Gutedel even), sedated white grape and that added white pepper. What follows in taste is as much taste a natural adjunct-amped saison can pack: a proper dry yeast character, hay, flowery and rustic campagne notes not marred by any artificial brett: this feels and drinks as organic as any BE produced saison, maybe only with a cleaner, more "engineered" quality to it - and of course US-typical added upfront aromas of grape and pepper instead of letting the yeast take care of those...Lingering yeast and hop bitter finish - nice addition of ¿Nelson Sauvin here.

Bottle via trade with Rob - thanks! Hazy bright yellow-gold pour with a small white head. Yeast and pepper spice, light fruit / grape, Brett comes out - this is just awesome.

A beautiful pour with a lacey, gorgeous everlasting white cap over the cloudy pale golden hue. It was really interesting on paper and passed the reality test too. Appetizing grassy, tropical, zesty, zippy spicy fruit nose with grapefruit, lemon, pepper undertones. Fresh-smelling in spite of being several months old. While it is fairly aromatic, based on the commercial deScription, I expected something more explosive, rather it is quite refined and subtle, no single ingredient capturing all the attention. Among others, brett are not particularly expressive save for the dry and spicy charater they impart. Hops are never agressive, but of enormous importance. Even the subdued malts are well tuned up, crackery pils type. Light-bodied due to the attenuation but equipped with cleansing, engaging carbonation. Reasonable bitterness level, never exagerated, yet appearing fairly serious considering the relatively dry environment we’re facing here. I could drink several and be very happy.

Bottle: cloudy, deep straw to golden with thick head and loads of lace. Massive fresh lift. Fruity, hints of spice, fresh yeast driven aromas and subtle lightly roasted malt. Dry, low sourness and moderate to low bitterness. Fresh spice long palate. Loads of flavor weight and length. So bright and balanced. Wonderful refreshing beer.
