3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dry dark fruit aromatics that suggest...ta da..dried fruits. Slightly soapy scrubbed plastic notes as well. Some chocolate and boozy alcohol as well. The body od dark brown to near black with ruby highlights and holds a thin mocha colored head that is somewhat lasting. Tastes of stewed root veggies, cocoa powder, dust and astringent/roasted malts. The finish is fairly bitter.

Aroma has some dark berry fruits amongst the roasted malts. Taste is a little warming and alcoholic. Dark roasted malts, coffee and bitter chocolate in the finish.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours black opaque colour, with brown mousse-like unstable head, which immidiately transforms itself to a tiny ring around a glass. Aroma with hints of an alcohol (oak barrell), with notes of vanilla, coffee, chocolate and molasses. Flavor: firsty sweet, with notes of coffee, vanilla, molasses, cocoa, dark chocolate, but than immidiately kicks you taste of oak barrell alcohol, combinted with hints of tobacco and some fruity esters (of dried fruit, plums). Alcohol is present very explicitely, but not in a disturbing way, namely it is too well balanced with malts and hops. Malt sweetness is medium to high, hop bitterness also. Finish is sticky and dry. Body is sticky, carbonation is low. Gorgeous imperial stout.

Bomber thanks to AndyReynolds - coffee. Reminds me more of an impy porter. Roasty.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, opaque black, massive walnut colored head, nice lace. Aroma molasses, brown sugar, cookies, dark chocolate, raisin. Taste is cookies, dried figs, vanilla, coffee, bittersweet chocolate. This starts sweet, but gets bitter and dry at the finish against all that sugar somehow. Palate is rich and thick, carbonation subdued. Pretty good, even as sweet as it is.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: As black as ink, small tanned head; caramelly, fruity, toasty and port-vinous nose; solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; vanilla and chocolate and wood in the solid roasty-caramelly finish. As good as expected…

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black, thick, chocolate, coffee, all the usual suspects. Quite dry, nice thick mouthfeel but doesn’t have the syrupy viscosity of a BA stout. Very well made beer though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased in Dillon CO at Wines and Liquors. 750ML bottle. Tasted in inappropriate glassware for the style. Pours the deepest black .. amongst the deepest I’ve seen for the imperial imperial stout category. Head is rich, brownish colour, remains throughout the tasting. Aroma is expected - , sweetness, slight liquorice hints. Flavour is smooth, rich, on initial mouthfeel - everything coalesces and then the distinction begins.. alcohol, dark chocolate, malty robustness, very slight sweetness. Overall very nice. I think the current RB percentile is more of an alcohol rating than quality of product tho.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aromas increíbles, notas a café, chocolate, cacao y ligeramente especias.
Frutos secos, especias principalmente pimienta, maltas tostadas.
Definitivamente una excelente cerveza imperdible.
